This heavy-duty planer delivers outstanding performance with a powerful 5 HP motor and 20-inch planing capacity. It features a 5-inch dust port compatible with any dust collector. The cutter head, equipped with four high-speed steel knives, operates at 5,000 RPM for 20,000 cuts per minute. Anti-kickback fingers and a pressure bar ensure an exceptional finish. Built with a solid cast iron base, table, and head for production use, it includes a 2-speed oil bath gearbox for efficient power transmission and quick speed changes at 24 and 31 FPM. The gearbox can be adjusted to 4-speed for lower speeds of 16 and 20 FPM. Corrugated infeed and fine groove outfeed rollers provide smooth feeding. The precision-ground cast iron table, supported by four steel columns, offers stability for larger workpieces.
